Non-Contact Vital States Identification of Trapped Living Bodies Using Ultra-Wideband Bio-Radar

چکیده
Identifying the vital states of trapped survivors during post-disaster rescue missions can result in improved strategies and provide injury pre-diagnosis information. The most effective method is use bio-radar based non-contact measurements. Presently, techniques focus on detecting locating. Herein, a to identify with an ultra-wideband proposed, while simulating condition Beagle dogs. This investigation revealed three stages under condition: normal, transitioning, agonal stages. Upon entering transitioning stage, heartrates were apparently high, respiratory rates increased sharply. temperatures dropped rapidly once passing this stage. In particular, waveforms from frequently change normal sine like curve “M” within accurate beginning ending stage are defined by newly proposed indicator relative occurrence frequency. Pathological observations indicated that fragmentation lamellar bodies type II alveolar cells caused insufficiency lung surfactant, further resulted curves. pioneering work realizes identification only using bio-radar, thereby enables infer health conditions, life expectancy, appropriate subsequent treatment victims condition. Therefore, it has potential promote welfare human victims.

Ultra-Wideband Automotive Radar
A lot of progress has been made for automotive radar during the last years. There are two types of automotive radar; “long-range radar at 77GHz with a range capability up to 200m“ for automatic cruise control (ACC) and “short-range radar at 24/26 and 79GHz up to 30m“ for anti-collision. Long radar with narrow radiation beam enables a automobile to maintain a cruising distance, while short-range...

The U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) has been investigating the utility of ultra-wideband (UWB) synthetic aperture radar (SAR) technology for detecting concealed targets in various applications. We have designed and built a vehicle-based, low-frequency UWB SAR radar for proof-of-concept demonstration in detecting obstacles for autonomous navigation, detecting concealed targets (mines, etc.),...
متن کاملAn Algorithm Based Wavelet Entropy for Shadowing Effect of Human Detection Using Ultra-Wideband Bio-Radar
Ultra-wide band (UWB) radar for short-range human target detection is widely used to find and locate survivors in some rescue missions after a disaster. The results of the application of bistatic UWB radar for detecting multi-stationary human targets have shown that human targets close to the radar antennas are very often visible, while those farther from radar antennas are detected with less r...
متن کاملNon-contact cardiac gating with ultra-wideband radar sensors for high field MRI
Cardiac MR (CMR) imaging in a defined phase of the heart cycle requires triggered data acquisition. Systems with B0 up to 1.5 T utilize ECG signals for triggering. However, due to the increasing perturbing influence of the magneto-hydrodynamic effect on the ECG signal, triggering is additional hampered in high and ultrahigh field MRI systems. The necessity to attach ECG electrodes to the human ...

The aim of this work is to study the application of Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology to perform biomedical sensing and vital signs monitoring in humans. Among the numerous signals that can be measured, the heart rate (HR) is chosen as the first objective due to its importance. The research is pointed towards the development of a technique that can allow both, radar sensing and communications usi...
